My New Favorite Flower Photo
My bamboo trellis has fallen down, and I have learned a valuable lesson about how to choose mature bamboo, so it doesn't rot so fast, but the passion flowers continue to grow on the trellis wreckage. I love the way passion flowers look! They look like they should be growing on some exotic other planet.
My grandparents had passionflowers growing outside their backporch. Grandmama called them "Maypops" adn "Maypop flowers" and we would make little people out of the flowers by removing some of the pistils. I was an adult before I found-out that they were called passionflowers! :-)
