Who said-"This is Ozymandias."
This tank based teapot racer, built and operated by Lloyd Dodd, had already competed at Wild Wild West Con in Tucson, Arizona, where the treads had come in handy on the sand track. At Big River Steampunk Festival, the obstacle course was on Main Street, which is a much friendlier surface for remote control cars, but the control that Lloyd had over his vehicle was still an advantage.
If you listen carefully to the comments from the crowd, Ozymandias is mocked for its lack of speed, but people quickly change their tune, when they realize its maneuverability. While other racers have to back up and try different angles to get around the obstacles, Ozymandias slowly makes every turn perfectly on the first try.
To mix literary references: slow and steady wins the race.
Day one:
Course completion time was 1 minute, 17 seconds. This was also the closest anyone came to getting a perfect score from one of the judges. He had only a single point deducted for "quality of bribe", with a perfect 10 in every other category.
Lloyd won medals for "Best Course Completion" and "Grand Champion".
The second day of racing, Ozymandias made even better time, completing the course in only 1 minute, 10 seconds. The overall scores from the judges were not quite as high on Sunday, but since Ozymandias had no deductions, Lloyd still walked away with the Grand Champion's ribbon, as well as his second "Best Course Completion" ribbon of the weekend.

On Sunday, Ozymandias was entered in the drag race. It didn't win, but came in a not-at-all-close second, cheered on by the the winner.
