Shrimp Dip

1 8-ounce package of cream cheese

1 can of condensed cream of shrimp soup

2 green onions

Place the cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for one minute. Stir. Add the cream of shrimp soup and stir until it is well blended with the cheese. Microwave for an additional one minute. Stir in finely sliced green onions, reserving some of the sliced green leaves for garnish. Stir well. Sprinkle the reserved onion on top and serve with potato chips.

You know I don't think I've ever seen condensed cream of shrimp soup. I wonder if that is regional.

I don't think it is. This recipe is one that my mom used to make in the microwave cooking classes she taught in Illinois.
It's made by Campbell and was near the oyster stew at our local grocery store.
Just out of curiosity, I just looked it up on Amazon and they sell it by the case. A whole case is an awful lot, though.
