Happy 2009 everybody!
We had a very good New Years Eve. We went to two historic sites in the Chattanooga area, yesterday, before continuing South.
The first one, Russell Cave, is a prehistoric Indian site in Alabama (the picture shown above).Second, we went to Chickamauga, the site of a huge and terrible battle during the American Civil War, and our country's first National Military Park.
I'll post pictures of both places either tonight or tomorrow, since we should be arriving home later today.
