Yesterday afternoon, I did get him to go with me to the garden and we spent a long time there, weeding, spreading compost, and transplanting some new plants. Blaze spent quite a while cutting the tall grass around the compost pile with a pair of his safety scissors. It sounds like a tedious job, but it was his idea and he really enjoyed it. He jumped up once and came running to me, because he had seen an ant, but when he went back to the compost pile, he announced that the ant was gone and went back to his cutting.
Here he is transplanting some little rhubarb plants.
