It's been raining really heavily this morning, but yesterday was a beautiful, warm day, so DH, Blaze, and I took off for a family outing to Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park. I'm not done transferring all the pictures and little movies to Photobucket yet, so I'll post more of those later this week (I already have our unplugged challenge entry ready to post tomorrow). In the meantime, I thought I'd post these three pictures from yesterday.
While waiting in line for the boat that would take us into the park, a park service volunteer started entertaining us and the family behind us in line, by teasing all of us, while folding origami animals without even looking at his hands as he worked. He made a paper crane for Blaze and showed him how pulling the bird's tail, makes the wings move. He made a frog for the woman behind us.
Inter-species brotherly love (the pilot of the boat that took us into the park, told us that he had never seen this before, in all his years of working at the park):
